It’s every parent’s nightmare – a child that won’t eat! No matter what you put on the table and how attractively you present the food, everything is followed by the signature wail “…but I’m not HUNGRY!’’ – leaving parents feeling frustrated and worried. It is not uncommon for normal healthy children to be picky fussy eaters, especially in their younger years. While they seem to gain weight and be healthy in all respects, parents sometimes think their children survive on air – with hardly a morsel of anything wholesome ever seeming to cross their lips.

VIDEO: This stunning news report finds that children, even toddlers as young as 2, are being given powerful psychotropic drugs in order to manage their behavior. Are these children being drugged because it is cheaper and easier than providing real care -- and because the practice is very lucrative for the pharmaceutical companies?

Do You Have a Heavy Baby?

The obesity epidemic in the United States has spread even to the youngest children.

Infants are now 59 percent more likely to be overweight than they were 20 years ago, and the number of overweight infants increased by 74 percent, the researchers found.

How many sodas have you had today? How about your kids? The average American drinks an estimated 56 gallons of soft drinks each year, but before you grab that next can of soda, consider this: one can of soda has about 10 teaspoons of sugar, 150 calories, 30 to 55 mg of caffeine, and is loaded with artificial food colors and sulphites.

Children's bodies develop at a fast pace and are more likely to be influenced and show the effects of genetically modified (GM) foods. That is why independent scientists used young adolescent rats in their GM feeding studies. The rats showed significant health damage after only 10 days, including damaged immune systems and digestive function, smaller brains, livers, and testicles, partial atrophy of the liver, and potentially pre-cancerous cell growth in the intestines.

Many of us, as teen-agers, have experienced the dread of pimples. Blackheads, whiteheads and the red, swollen, pus-filled lesions we call pimples is a disease common in teens called acne vulgaris. Eight out of every ten teens experience it. Mild acne is considered a "normal" condition of puberty, continuing throughout the teen years. See article for causes and treatments...

Researchers have found that TV viewing by children under the age of 3 is associated with irregular sleep schedules.

Regular sleep schedules are important because they ensure children get better quality and quantity of sleep, and can help prevent problems such as bedtime resistance or nighttime awakenings. Previous studies have linked television with sleep disturbances for older children and adolescents.

The scientific advancements of industry and agriculture have brought about the manufacture of over 75,000 synthetic chemicals, with a marked increase in the use of highly toxic pesticides in recent years. No matter where we live, our children are repeatedly exposed to these toxins. Most parents are not aware of the serious health risks our children face from pesticides and other industrial chemicals. The impact on short and long-term health is just beginning to be uncovered.

Imagine a high school were students actually behave -- no discipline problems, no acting out, no violence to speak of. Now imagine a high school were students actually concentrate on their schoolwork.
